We use the resources and make the investments needed to optimise our manufacturing and production procedures, to reduce their carbon footprint, and to increase the use of recycled materials.

Sustainable product lines
At the Armando Alvarez Group we have a in place a sustainability plan called GoCircularPlastics to promote the circular economy of plastic.
Based on this plan, at Silvalac we have developed a product line called Ecosolutions that can be mixed and matched, designed not only meet functional requirements, but also to reduce the environmental impact of the packaging industry.
Social responsibility
Committed to people and to the community:
We focus on building solid and trusting relationships with our employees and clients, and with the surrounding community. Our mission is to generate value and build trust in everyday interaction. We invested more than €80 million in recent years, which has enabled us to increase employment and guarantee a future for our personnel. We currently have more than 300 employees, and we have concluded more than 60 open-ended contracts in the past five years.

We have a multicultural team from different backgrounds and of different ages, which fosters cohesion, mutual respect and learning. We value the co-existence of different generations as a source of enrichment that contributes to transmit our company’s values. We made a commitment to equal opportunities and were able to achieve more than 13% women in roles historically dominated by men.
